JAZZ GUITAR

The mechanics of ‘why’ are a bit much to discuss here, but suffice it to say: jazz is a rather difficult style to learn on the guitar (I can happily talk about it at length in a lesson).

To truly get the most out of learning this style, the student really needs to be able to execute barre chords.

But, if you’re at that level and ready to start improvising to chord changes and reharmonizing Real Book tunes, then let’s dive in!

I have several different methods designed for different levels of jazz guitarists, and arrangements and etudes on standards such as 'Giant Steps', ‘Stella by Starlight’, ‘What Is This Thing Called Love’, ‘On Green Dolphin Street’, ‘Just Friends’, and more.
